Valentine's Day Brunch
I thought it would be fun to set a breakfast table for Valentine's Day using new plates I could not resist adding to my collection!
I fell in love with all things Nathalie Lete. When I came across the plates and cups with the whimsical love hearts I knew they would go home with me.
We had a late breakfast enjoying our usual cereal, oatmeal and fruit. We enjoyed lingering over coffee with my new favorite cup!
Tea Towels rather than placemats for a Valentine table
Heart plates for a side dish, a gift from my father-in-law years ago
Silver hearts for napkin rings
I used a gift bag from my sister to hold a plant for a centerpiece
John Derian romantic plate
And a few Valentines around the house
Bunnies are already popping up around the house, even before the valentine's are put away. So tell me please, are you welcoming spring today!
Happy Valentine's Day
Un bel article pour la St Valentin ! Personnellement, je ne fais rien de spécial ce jour-là ! Bonne journée
ReplyDeleteHi Emily! What sweet sentiments shared for Valentine's Day. Your newest Nathalie Lete items are adorable! I love the keys to all things heart you have scattered. Yes, I, too, am welcoming spring, bunnies alongside hearts, and a shamrock garden flag replaced the Bee Loved last night after dark. Warm days, cold nights are what's up next for us as we wait. 🙂
ReplyDeleteExcellent
ReplyDeleteI don't know Natalie Lete so thanks for the introduction. I love both the plates and the dolls. They're wonderful! You have so many pretty touches in your home and at your setting. Wonderful valentines, that pretty strawberry arrangement in the heart pan, moss bunny, keys -- all just charming. I hope your Valentine appreciated it!
ReplyDeleteSo sweet Emily! You have so many Valentine pretties! Love the heart plates, cups and napkin rings! Yes, I am welcoming Spring too with these finally warmer temps and sunshine! Your table for 2 is so cozy, love the cute gift bag holding the pink flowers 💕 The keys are wonderful and the bunny holding the heart is adorable! I hope you and Jim had a wonderful Valentine's Day!

"Plates I could not resist adding to my collection." - haven't I also said that a million times? I can see why you love these. Sort of funky/pretty/modern/old all at the same time. Hope it was a beautiful day for you.
ReplyDeleteEmily, of course I love seeing this table for two and all the special touches you've added to your home. You know I love the sweet Natalie Lete pieces. My sweet mushroom sits in the rocker in a guest room. The bunnies are charmers!!! I was slow to bring out some valentine things, but have a few vignettes about the house, filled 4 different dough bowls with hearts and such. Fresh flowers, a tray of special silver heart boxes from Monnie, a few pillows, and that is the extent of my decor. I thought I'd set another table, but just didn't get the creative energy. I did open a beautiful package yesterday afternoon. Such a beautiful heart and thoughtful gift. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteEmily, your Valentines decor is so pretty. Love your Natalie Lete stuffed dolls, so whimsical. Your table is so romantic and full of love.❤️ I have managed to add a few bunnies here and there.
ReplyDeleteI can see why those charming plates and cups came home with you for Valentine's Day, Emily. The pattern is darling ❤️. I loved looking around at all your pretty decor. I have not added any bunnies yet, but will do some St. Patrick’s Day decor soon, but not until February is over. Thank you for sharing.
