A Wee Bit Irish
I love to give a nod to St. Patrick's Day by bringing out a bit of the green, I am a wee bit Irish after all. I decorated the hutch in the back hall with MacKenzie-Childs Courtly Check and Taylor ceramics
Courtly Check Sweet Stand
King Ferry Cup and Fluted Saucer
Courtly Check Flower Pot
Taylor Poplar Ridge Fluted cup and saucer
A Worry Stone if you need to rub your worries away
For the breakfast room green hydrangeas
I also enjoy displaying a collection of vintage and reproduction cards. Here are a few of my favorites
My wish for you
So do tell, what were you up to today? As for me, I was prone to Shenanigans and Malarkey! Thank you for your visit. I hope you will leave a comment, it is the only way I know you were here.
Happy St. Patrick's Day
Love Your display, Emily! I so wish I had purchased more of the Poplar Ridge pattern. It makes me happy. 😊 I have the Lucky to Have You card also. I was pretty low key on the holiday, only sprung for a chocolate mint shake as my shenanigans.
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely gorgeous, Emily. I love the Taylor especially. And those vintage postcards! It reminds me that I didn't get mine out this year -- and I'd better get the Easter ones out or at least in an obvious place before I forget those, too! I am absolutely fascinated by that Bonne Maman lemon-yuzu(?) jam. I've never seen that before. When I was in France they had a citroen lemon marmelade I adored and even brought some back but I've never been able to find it here. I wonder if this might be close. I don't know what yuzu is. Now I'm obsessed again! All lovely, Emily. Every detail. Happy day!
ReplyDeleteOh Emily, your hutch is magazine cover worthy! So many MKC pretties styled so beautifully! I love that cute Pinch Me pot and the plants and flowers mixed with the MKC pieces 😍 I love the green hydrangeas and wonderful vintage cards too. I hope you had a great St. Patrick's Day ☘️

Emily, your hutch is so beautiful. Love the Taylor pieces. They are colorful and different than the Courtly Check. Lovely vintage looking cards as well. Your pinch me pot is adorable. Such a fun look for spring and St. Patrick's Day.
ReplyDeleteCoucou Emily, quel beau billet.

Emily, it's great fun to see your bakers rack filled your collection of MacKenzie-Childs. The Courtly Check pairs beautifully with Taylor pieces, and always with Shamrock Green! Your collection is swoon worthy! Glad you shared some of your vintage post cards. I need to look for more. I think I have a lone one! It's needs company! The graphics on these cards are fabulous and the sayings always make me smile. Our St. Pat's Day was quiet and low key. I did indulge in an Irish coffee!
ReplyDeleteWhat a treat to view your post. Love your styling and collections. I love the Poplar Ridge pattern. The colors and shapes are so classy.
ReplyDeleteI'm crazy about vintage cards. So charming.
Have a great weekend.
Such a beautiful display you’ve created in your hutch, Emily!! You have so many lovely MKC pieces, and I love your vintage cards. I hope you had a wonderful St. Paddy’s Day 💚☘️💚
ReplyDeleteEmily, what a treat to see this again. It looks like I forgot to comment when I initially saw it. Your hutch is so beautiful, and I adore the Taylor pieces. ❤
ReplyDeleteEmily, I love all your green touches. I don't know how in the world I missed this post, but I do love it, especially your vintage cards and MacKenzie-Childs pieces. Your vignettes are so pretty!
