HAPPY EASTER



     


Happy Easter
 

In your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it! Well, I didn’t have an Easter bonnet this morning since we are celebrating Easter at home. I do however have an Easter basket with all the frills. I selected a few bulbs and flowers at the garden center yesterday to use in a favorite basket for a centerpiece. Pretty pink tulips and lavender and it smells heavenly



These will go in the flower beds later in the spring to bloom next spring




I decided to set a table in the study using my round table. I am using cream colored round placemats from Etsy,  MacKenzie-Childs Parchment Check dinner and salad plates.  The chargers are glass with gold trim I've had forever.

I love using this table without a cloth, the flatware really pops against the wood

The beautiful cross is so lovely in your basket against the lavender and tulips and the purple sheer bow is the perfect touch. I love everything on your table. You have the most beautiful collectibles and stunning linens and china. I love your setting and you are right everything looks so nice on the bare wood.

    Magnifique petite table en duo, je craque complètement pour ce superbe panier fleuri ainsi que pour tes assiettes et serviettes. J'aime aussi beaucoup dresser une table ou créer une mise en scène directement sur le bois.

Your plate stacks are beautiful and the Jay Strongwater pieces are so unique and pretty...wasn't the weather wonderful Easter weekend, such a gift to be outside!     Emily, I like a small round table for two. Your's makes the perfect setting! You already know I adore and admire your beautiful parchment check ceramics. They really set an elegant table. Your Jay Strongwater pieces are delights. I have one of the roosters. Charming little fellows!

    Beautiful table, as always, Emily. I love the wood of that table too. I always thought it so nice to buy bulbs and plant them later. I hope your Easter was enjoyable.

    I am enjoying your pretty tablescape on your round table. I always loved designing tablescapes on my round table. Sadly, I have not used it since moving to Kentucky. Maybe in the future, I will have a chance to. Love your rabbit and rooster by Jay Strongwater. I am not familiar with his work but need to check him out. Your basket filled with flowers, butterflies and eggs make a great centerpiece for your table. Take care!
