Welcome Spring
Every year I look forward to Spring and pulling out my collection of Beatrix Potter. Books, figurines, musical pieces, the ceramic house, teapot and place settings. Today, the first day of spring I set a table for two.
Using a table topper from my sweet friend Sarah at Hyacinths For the Soul, sets the garden theme.
Willow, an ivy topiary, is a gift from my dear sister Iris. She is the perfect centerpiece for this table setting. Her skirt of ivy has grown a lot since I first introduced her here. She stands on a bed of grass surrounded with Beatrix Potter ornaments.
The Peter Rabbit by Wedgewood stack sits on top of an Anthropologie dinner plate, Grace
Scattered around the table are some of my favorite figurines and musical pieces
Flatware from Pottery Barn
Napkins are from Crown Linen Designs
I will enjoy this table for a few days then all my little friends will be displayed throughout my home through Easter
Check back to see more Spring and lots of Easter vignettes.
I love to hear from you so please leave a comment, it's the only way I know you stopped by......

ReplyDeleteThank you Pam, I love to hear when friends around blogland share their love of collections. Thanks for stopping by. Happy Spring!
DeleteEmily, you know this makes me smile, and Mrs. Potter must be smiling down on your wonderful gathering of her little figures. The table topper is filled with charming scenes. I'm happy you are enjoying it, sweet friend. My spring and Easter things are popping up here and there this weekend. Our garden may be bare, but I've filled the terrace containers with colorful blooming bulbs thanks to Trader Joe's. Happy Spring!
DeleteWhat a wonderful collection to enjoy company with each spring, Emily! Your latest additions add to the classic tales of Peter Rabbit (runner) as well as the classic look created (CL napkins). The whimsy of Willow's skirt of ivy growing ahd me chuckling. Enjoy this beautiful start to spring weekend!
ReplyDeleteRita, another reason I love Spring, pulling out some favorite bunny friends. Willow is appreciating Spring with her new longer ivy skirt. She seems to like the sunny kitchen. Happy Spring.......
ReplyDeleteOh Emily, how utterly sweet this is! I love the Beatrix Potter china pieces and adorable figurines, you really have captured a Spring garden on your table! I can almost hear the animals chatting and romping around in the garden. Willow is so adorable, how fun that her ivy skirt is growing! The topper from Sarah is beautiful and such perfection to display your collection! Looking at all the wonderful photos and scenes I felt like I was in a fairy tale come to life! One of my children was gifted a place setting of Beatrix Potter china, I must get it on display for Easter! Happy Spring!
