A Christmas tour.....
Welcome....
I wanted to share a little of my Christmas spirit with you. I decorated early beginning Thanksgiving weekend. Plans changed a little since decorating but here are a few my favorite Christmas decorations.
The Foyer
The mice love to play in the clock

The Living Room
I have a little flocked tabletop tree I use in the corner of the living room.

The Breakfast Room
I started out with this vignette for the breakfast area in the kitchen but it's not practical so this was moved out to the table on the veranda where I added boxwood for a winter scene. We get to enjoy this out the dining room windows!

Emily... your home looks positively heavenly!! I admit to scrolling through more than once because I did not want to miss one festive detail! Have a very Merry Christmas, sweet Emily!
ReplyDeleteEmily, your home is beautifully done! I am literally in a dish daze with your beautiful patterns in play. The DR and its sideboard are just fabulous, and the French Hutch is perfectly analogous to window dressing in the best way. The mice are endearing to me scampering about, and being able to enjoy outdoor decor is a real treat.
ReplyDeleteThank you for opening your door to giving us a peek!
Oh Emily,I am SO in love with your beautiful space. And like Katie, I've been looking back and forth! I love your moss angel and those wreaths knock my socks out. There's something about flocking I adore and the silver bells. And those CUTE mice! And the cactus with the Quimper. All your MacKenzie -- I'll be doing my Christmas in London post later this week and there was a LOT of MacKenzie! All the little touches make me smile. Hutches and candles and that glorious tree. Biggest sigh! Definitely a home of holiday happiness. I'll tell you what you told me -- I hope you leave it up a bit to get the full enjoyment out of every pretty bit!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely and festive home!! Your hutch is so beautiful with all of the delicious M-C treasures!! And are those all wax trees in your dining room? Your table settings are so inviting (wish I lived close by!!) Your Christmas in NY and Paris books look so special - souvenirs? I hope you enjoy the holidays in your festive home!
ReplyDeleteEmily, I love the veranda shot with the blue chairs. And I thank you for showing your beverage station as I will be copying that for Christmas morning when we have breakfast sandwiches with Xavier and his parents. Then we clean up and move on to my sister's house for the remainder of the day. Enjoy every minute of your festive home, and The French Hutch has me swooning. I also love the look of a shop window hutch filled with treasures. It's truly The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, and glad you got to experience NYC in all it's holiday splendor. Love to you and Jim. xo
ReplyDeleteWow I enjoyed the tour! You have some great collections and I love how you displayed them. The dolls under the table are too cute and the mice on the clock “Hickory Dickory Dock..the mouse ran up the clock”! Loved the sideboard with all the blue and white porcelain and the gorgeous display of hydrangeas. I also loved the multiple tree candle display on the china cabinet. Your home is beautifully decorated and very festive! Wishing you and yours a Very Merry. Christmas!

Oh Emily, your house is truly beautiful, and it's so much fun for me to see since I have been there! I remember your sweet mice from a previous year, they are so cute playing on your clock! I don't know how you managed to get so much done, with a trip to NYC and being sick! I hope you are feeling better every day and that your family Christmas is very Merry!
