FRESH SPRING INSPIRATION FOR THE HOME

I enjoy celebrating spring with a few fresh finds for the home. I stopped to check the new inventory in one of my favorite local gift and home shops to see what's new for spring. Happy bright color, pretty pastels in kitchen and bed linens. A lot of mix and match for the table using different patterns and colors. I love it! Hear are a few things I photographed using my Iphone so I could share with you.

Love this framed print

Getting ready for Easter with a nest and eggs

I love single stem arrangements

Using a lot of neutrals ~ grey, cream and white

I may have to add a few new entertaining books to my collection

A few antiques to the mix

These are cute mice I would welcome into my kitchen

Gorgeous French linens

Did you see anything you like? I saw a few things I may go back for and I did bring home the pretty tulips below in white. Are you ready for spring? I would love to hear. I hope you will leave a comment, it's the only way I know you stopped in.

  3. Thank you for the beautiful spring shopping trip Emily! I saved so much money shopping this way :) Is this the store you took me to? Such a good idea to take a lot of pics and look them over at home before buying...the tulips look so real I know you will enjoy them!

  12. Oh my, those linens!! That one in the foreground, looks like cutwork - beautiful! The neutral plate stack with linen napkin is handsome, and I really liked that plate rack holding the blue/white cups at its top on hooks - cute! And that wooden cow would've probably followed me home too.......
I have white tulips on my Amazon shopping list online....not sure why I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Love the natural look of some of the better silks now.....
Thanks for letting me tag along, Emily!

  13. It was fun shopping with you, Emily, and I didn't spend a penny!! I'd love to bring home some realistic faux tulips, as the real ones don't last long. I wonder what you'll go back and buy??

  14. I need to accompany you next time because I see several things I LOVE! I really like the pink vases. They'd look great in our home! I also like the linens. I also liked that plate stacker with the vase on top. Did you see that? At the top of one of your photos? LOVE it!
