RIBBON AND RUST





BREAKFAST TEA IN THE GARDEN

The week before Easter while working in the flowerbeds and getting the veranda cleaned up I thought it was the perfect day to set a table for a late breakfast tea. I had to keep it simple, after all it was a day we planned to work in the yard to get ready for our family and Easter weekend. I decided to use my favorite little bistro table and chairs. I love the rusty, paint flaking look and I didn’t want to cover it with a tablecloth. I will probably paint it next year so I'm enjoying the look this year. After cleaning it up I pulled a few pieces of my “Hazelbury” by Laura Ashley. I think it has the perfect spring look to set a table.

What fun we had hiding eggs and the Peter Rabbit Easter Egg hunt kit made the egg hunt even more delightful, thanks Sarah.

    Hi Emily! Oh, little Conner is darling and I'm sure he had a great time hunting eggs! Love the mosaic of him. Your outdoors area is just so pretty and when I saw those dishes...my heart skipped a beat!     It's like a scene right out of a storybook, Emily, every single detail, and Connor is the prince. I love it all. Petal showers are magical, aren't they?

    Emily, this setting for a breakfast tea is just delightful. Those dishes are so pretty and are perfect for a garden setting.
