RIBBON AND RUST

BREAKFAST TEA IN THE GARDEN

The week before Easter while working in the flowerbeds and getting the veranda cleaned up I thought it was the perfect day to set a table for a late breakfast tea. I had to keep it simple, after all it was a day we planned to work in the yard to get ready for our family and Easter weekend. I decided to use my favorite little bistro table and chairs. I love the rusty, paint flaking look and I didn’t want to cover it with a tablecloth. I will probably paint it next year so I'm enjoying the look this year. After cleaning it up I pulled a few pieces of my “Hazelbury” by Laura Ashley. I think it has the perfect spring look to set a table.

Easter Egg Hunt with Connor
What fun we had hiding eggs and the Peter Rabbit Easter Egg hunt kit made the egg hunt even more delightful, thanks Sarah.

  31. Chère Emily! I did not even know that our beloved Beatrix wrote poetry! Look at your little Connor, following Peter Rabbit's trail! Oh..don't let Connor follow Benjamin's little clog steps; that rabbit is the culprit and who got his cousin Peter in trouble! teehehee

OHHHHH your rusty bistro set is so pretty and ready for action! Not here; we still have cold weather, a little snow left on the ground, but by next month at this time, we should be showing signs of spring. Thank you so much for coming by and I do hope you will participate in my Paris link party this year again! Anita
