TABLE FOR TWO AND A THANK YOU

Bloggers are so thoughtful and considerate. I want to thank two of my dear friends I have been so fortunate to get to know since starting my blog.

My dear friend Marcia at "The Shop Around The Corner" is such a talented artist. I left a comment telling her how much I adore her sweet little paper slippers. Now I have one on my French hutch. I enjoy looking at it every day. Thank you Marcia.

Marigene, my sweet friend at "In the Middle of Nowhere" is a dish collector and sets the most amazing tablescapes.
She saw my tablescape, "Pretty Pink Tulips"using the pieces I have of Pink Castles by Johnson Bros. I didn't have enough to make a full place setting so she sent me plates and salad plates so that I am now able to set a table with complete place settings. Thank you Marigene.

Here are photos of The French Hutch with Marcia's paper slipper and plates from Marigene to set a "Table for Two" using a compete place settings of "Pink Castles".

  12. I have red transferware jealousy! Such generous friends from bloggy land, too. I have red transferware for a complete tea set for 12 place settings, BUT, I haven't been able to get the dinner ware, as it's hard to find around here. I love all you did and your table looks lovely. The ruffled cake plates are awesome, I totally love them!
