A COLLECTION OF MINIATURES

Paris Miniatures

I started collecting Gault miniatures on my trips to France and on each visit I would select a new house to add to my collection. Each one holds such a special memory and I enjoy adding these to tablescapes or creating a vignette on the French Hutch. I've redecorated the back hutch so I've removed the miniatures and added my new copper cookware and brought out my old french canisters for a new French feel. Hope you enjoy a French tour in miniature, so let's take a stroll through Paris, Alsace and Provence and look at the beautiful old architecture, miniature style.

I like the new look

This is a small town cottage in miniature given to me by my sister. She found these collectibles in Atlanta. They are so sweet and charming, and I keep this set displayed in a small cabinet that hangs on the wall.

Blooming Now

Sunset and Love Birds

A few outside snaps at what's blooming now. We've had much needed rain and now I have a few roses blooming, the crepe myrtles have gone wild and the lantana has grown tall.
Hope you enjoyed my miniature collection. So what do you collect in minatures?

  1. Emily, I didn't know you collected these. They are charmers! It is so much fun to see the different ones. ;-) Who makes these? Are they ceramic?
You know I collect many different things. As far as miniatures for me, that would be my collection of little mini picture frames and boxes. My husband started me on the petite frames because he knows I'm drawn to small things. It's a challenge to find photos to fit in them. I group them on small silver trays and have them in various spots around the house. I should do a post on these sometime. ;-)
Thanks for sharing your wonderful collection.......Sarah

These are GORGEOUS!! Oh my goodness, I can't choose a favorite. They are all so pretty. I would have to say the Brasserie, and your baker's rack is gorgeous, not to mention your garden.

I started collecting mini porcelain furniture...I also have other minis in an old secretary desk of my Grandmother's. Fun to collect! I had a friend who used to shriek "SHRUNK IN THE DRYER CUTE!" every time she saw something miniature. So funny!
