Mobile ~ The Eastern Shore
A little Shopping
In my last post I enjoyed sharing with you the communities and natural habitats along the shore of Mobile Bay. Go here if you missed part one of my Eastern Shore post.
Today I want to take you along for a stroll through Fairhope and visit a few of my favorites haunts. I purchased a few things along the way but the fun for me was enjoying the antiques, collectibles and furniture.
But first let me wish Beverly at How Sweet the Sound a wonderful and happy birthday.

Happy Birthday Beverly
How Sweet the Sound

Antique Shops
Of Course I love a French Hutch
Love this Trumeau
What a wonderful getaway along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay on the Alabama Gulf Coast. So If you're wondering what I bought during my morning of shopping, I purchased a few additions to add to my Copper Collection. But, these are antique pieces shown here, mine are new. I plan to redecorate my hutch in the back foyer to display some of my favorite pieces.
Hope you enjoyed walking through Fairhope and a little shopping.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful town and tour! Thanks for taking me with you! Those antique stores are out of this world. Decorated to a the hilt like a department store. Love it. Our antique shops are always jammed packed from the ceiling to the floor and every style and time period you could imagine all together. Those shops looked like showrooms. Fantastic.

ReplyDeleteEmily, I don't know why I'm not getting updates on your posts, but they are not coming to my email and don't show up on my sidebar. Sorry to be late arriving at this fabulous post. I could definitely do some serious shopping in that shop. I've already spied several things that I'd like to bring home with me. Love it when you share your travels. You go to the best places and shops. Hummmmm ~ wonder if I can talk the chef into a road trip. ;-)
