ATLANTA WEEKEND ~ BOXWOODS

My sister knows how much I love to come to Atlanta so she gave me this luggage tag. Mind you I plan on going to Heaven but I do love to go to Atlanta and spend the weekend with Iris. We enjoy our favorite haunts for a little shopping and do lunch while we talk and catch up. I felt the need to go to the big city a few weekends ago and snapped a few (well ok, a lot) of photographs. I knew all of you would enjoy this beautiful shop of flora and fauna, a beautiful selection of southern plants and flowers. They sell custom floral arrangements and outside you find plants and shrubs. One of my favorites things you will find here are the amazing topiaries. All shapes and sizes, for everyday and holidays. When you finish in this shop if you haven't had enough you can walk across the street to the Home Store. Here you find beautiful tablescapes and hutches filled with beautiful china and pottery. I hope you enjoy your tour of Boxwoods! I love everything here, please tell me what you like!

Hope you enjoy your stroll

  36. I go crazy in shops like that and like a child I want it all. My favorite things that caught my eye before I ever got to the inside of the shop, was the low stone wall. I am thinking of making one around the little tree in front of our porch and filling it with flowers. I loved the sage green of the front door and shutters on the little house..just so sweet. There was so much to like..sooo much! I love pretties...
I'm told I have too much in my little house..but who cares. It makes me happy! :)
Thank you...for stopping by and leave such a sweet comment.

  38. Emily, are you serious?? You want me to pick just one thing?? For this shop I could men the trip to Atlanta! Actually my daughter may be going this summer for a weekend or two so I will send her to this shop to bring me some goodies. Like, maybe that blue lamp or the bunny pillow or the green (ish) writing desk!!! I will come back here tonight to look over every picture for some excellent window shopping. And I am still not getting your updates in my list of blogs! I'll have to see what I can do about that because you know I love visiting you. Linda

  44. Oh. My. Gosh. These photos you captured of this amazing place are just too good to be true eye candy. Thank you ever so much for taking the time to take us on a field trip to Boxwood. I ADORE the luggage tag. Hey, have you heard the saying that when Southerners go to heaven they will have to go through Atlanta? A take on how many flights from the South connect/have layovers in Atlanta.

    ReplyDelete
  45. Emily, that luggage tag is a hoot but while we are two hours from Atlanta, when at our old house, I try never ever to go there. The traffic makes me nuts, I want to take Valium, several in fact. Keep me In Augusta where I know how to get around. These images are fabulous-love the topiaries. hugs, olive
