ReplyDeleteWhat a great store. I have heard of it but never visited one. I especially love the horse. xo
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love anthropologie! At Christmas I texted my husband photos from the store as my wish list! So I own the book Lunch in Paris (I just read it for the second time - LOVE it) and the Petit Macaroon book. I haven't yet made them but I will. Great post. Happy Pink Saturday. ~Marti
ReplyDeleteI love browing around in Anthropologie! Not only for their goods but also to see how their very talented set designers have decorated the store. They are so creative!

I have had my eye on the Let Them Eat Cake and Make Do vases for a few months, but I cannot bring myself to buy them because i already own too many vases.
ReplyDeleteCan you get over that rickshaw? The Atlanta store has so many fun things the Birmingham store lacks. :D
xo,
RJ
I love the store but it is ridiculously expensive if you as me. My philosophy is look but don't buy. Great stuff though.
ReplyDeleteOh what eye candy the Atlanta Anthropologie store has to offer that the one here doesn't! What a fantastic teapot! Thanks for the tour :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a wonderful store. I adore the cabinet filled with dishes and the tea towels on the fronts. Sorry no dishes you wanted on sale but there will be another chance to plan a fun trip.
ReplyDeleteAnn
looks like a fun afternoon of retail therapy! Always love the home section there-the French plates are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOh My YES! It is such a fun, fun, fun place! We need HOURS to explore... AND did you get out of there WITHOUT a BAG OF GOODIES??? Your sister's sweater is SO CUTE!
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit overwhelming...I usually have to SLEEP ON IT, DREAM ABOUT IT, then go back FOR "ANOTHER LOOK"...Then I can leave with several bags of goodies!
I even LOVE the layout of the store. It's almost like a village in itself!
Have a wonderful week,
Donna
lucky you!!! and with your sister yet....what a fun day!!
ReplyDeletehave a great week.
Emily, I haven't been to Anthropologie in quite a while and you just reminded me why. They have so many pretty things!! It is very hard to be in control there...I always want it all. Your pictures are wonderful.

ReplyDeleteI especially love their over-the-top displays. They sure know how to create the most amazing displays -- in their stores and in their windows -- that I could spend hours just examining and wondering how their brains came up with it!
So inspiring.
Love the lamps and French plates.

Oh Emily maybe there is enough medication (Valium) for me to brave the drive to and around Atlanta for THAT store. I would surely buy one item. I do have one of their darling butter dishes purchased from one of my consignment stores I deal with.

ReplyDeleteOmg! I was drooling all over those beautiful plates. Thanks for sharing...Christine

ReplyDeleteHello, Emily! You've got to share your link party tricks! If I signed up for that many, it would take me a week! By the way, I assume that by and throw you mean anthropology. I don't get there often, but I love the place. Looks like you have a very large one store in your area. All the best, Barbara
